Well hello! I was thinking of modifying everyones account so that you will have about the same number of posts you had before all your posts and accounts got deleted. I will list below what I think were the number of posts of everyone the last time I checked, which is probably the last time I was online, since I usually check every time... Tell me if you agree with it, and if you think its a good idea at all... Marleen - 5700 posts Bryan - 4800 posts Jamie - 2400 posts Sean - 1400 posts Helen - 1300 posts Emzii - 1200 posts Amy - 1200 posts Val - 800 posts Liane - 700 posts Sandy - 500 posts Charlotte - 400 posts Merel - 400 posts Or did you have more, I'm sorry I forgot! I'm afraid that that is all I know... Of all the other 70 members I don't exactly know how many posts they had, so feel free to tell me if you want it restored... I know it had to be less than 500 so don't try to fool me too much I won't be modifying my own posts number untill at least one of you says this is a good idea, lol.

So I think that in many ways it is a good idea, but in a few ways it could be a bit bad... (I'll share both sides of my opinion lol).
It would be great to have our posts counts back because obviously a lot of us have worked really hard to get them up high (some of you are way into the 1,000s, and thats really an accomplishment!).
On the other hand, we are starting out the forum again, and these posts are no longer here. It's kind of like a new board and in that aspect should we just all start over? I don't know...
Something to consider is what new members that do not understand the situation may think (although this is probably not a determining factor, just something to consider). New members tend not to like when people have their post counts faked (which is what it will seem like if we got our old post counts back). They will know that the post counts are not accurate because the # of total posts at the bottom of the forum will not match.
My last point that goes against it is the fact that we do not know all of the members post counts. Is it sort of weird that some members get their post counts back, and other don't? I don't know. Also an old member can join up (that nobody remembers the post count of), and they can just lie about what they believe their post count was.
Of course none of these are HORRIBLE problems, so I think that it is something to consider. I just wanted to give you guys my imput! I personally don't know which I prefer... I'm really fine either way lol.

Well as I said before, I don't know which one I would prefer lol . I just put out all of the points that I had thought of, not knowing which one I actually agreed with . But yea, that was one of the things that I said lol.

I like the fresh start idea... but then I do like the fact that everyone gets their posts back because of their hard work...
I think that if we were to get our posts number back, that we should explain in a thread what went wrong and why everyone who had returned got their posts count back...
I'm with Val... I'm cool with whatever you guys agree to =)

Well that really helped... LOL. I was doubting, Like Val... But I think I'll do it, then explain it... But the posts you already made here, will be added to it of course. So like if you posted 80 already on this new board, you'll have them added to the number I thought about... I'll think about it some more.. In the meantime, keep posting lol =] I'll ask our other staff members...
BTW Sandy, I LOVE your signature =]

I For One, Will Not Be Happy If We Don't Get Our Posts Back, Because I Think The People Who Were Quite Active Would Know, I Worked Hard For Them
