Start with a blended graphic. Find a texture you like, and save it somewhere in your documents. Then open it, and copy and paste it into another layer on your blended graphic. Now on the layers panel, where it says the layer name which contains the texture, right click on it and go to 'Blending options' Next, where it has a drop down menu starting with 'Normal', click on the arrow to make the menu drop down, and test each option, to see which looks best. When you've found the one, you think looks best, click 'Ok'. Add text and brushes to taste. Then you've got your final result.

Emzii, I don't think you have to save the texture, then copy and paste it... I always open the texture, then go to Edit>> Define Pattern, then it will save in your pattern list... Then if I want to add it I click "Create new fill or adjustment layer", then select Pattern, and then you can change the size, the opacity the blend mode, everything
